[Corner Back]

  1. How many years have you played with the Chicago Force? One and hopefully many more!
  2. What made you decide to play women's tackle football? I'm a former Marine and needed a challenge. I left my Marine Corps family and the challenges that it gave me. I found it again playing tackle football for the Chicago Force. The women on the team are amazing, beautiful, powerful and very intelligent. I learn great things from the women on the Chicago Force, whether it’s on the field or off the field.
  3. Who is your favorite athlete? My favorite athlete is my son. He has so much potential to do great things.
  4. What is your favorite restaurant? Mon Lung! It’s located in Chicago on the corner of Ashland and Augusta. Best Cantonese and Mandarin food ever. I hope I get a free meal for this plug!
  5. Where is the most interesting place you've traveled to? I never physically traveled anywhere that I would say was interesting. I do however travel to interesting places while reading anything from J.R. Ward, Laurell K. Hamilton or Sherrilyn Kenyon. They are amazing authors. I read their books and it takes me away from reality and into a place that I never want to leave. Besides, who doesn’t like paranormal-fantasy-romance books?
  6. What is your favorite sports venue? Don’t have a favorite. I actually prefer to just read the highlights in the newspaper or online and/or if I have time, watch the highlights on ESPN. I know, I know…I’m a dork but my mother always said reading gains you knowledge and knowledge is power.
  7. What is your pet peeve? I have a speech impairment (stuttering). I thank God I received two years of speech therapy because if I spoke like I did a few years ago, I would never want to speak again…and I like to talk! I have gotten used to people laughing at me but what bothers me the most, is when people talk over me, interrupt me or ask if I’m a little slow in the head. I usually laugh it off because majority of the time people think I’m nervous or they are just plain ignorant. But once I tell them I have a stutter, they frown, get red and apologize. The looks on all their faces after I tell them the problem are priceless.
  8. What was the last movie that made you cry? The only movie I can remember is “The Passion of the Christ.” I watch that movie at least four times a year. I don’t cry much, so to make sure my tear ducts are dried up, I watch this movie.
  9. What song is playing in your head before you take the field? Anything I ‘m listening to before I leave the locker room, which is usually whatever Albi plays.
